Sarah Jessica Parker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, Sarah Jessica Parker brought her son, James, to see the 2pm showing of The Three Little Pigs today!!!!! We were all in the lobby, greeting the kids, in costume, as we always do, when the director confirmed our suspicions, that the person we glimpsed, in the house, was in fact, Sarah Jessica Parker and her little boy.
We expected her to just leave, and we only hoped for a quick “hello.” To our surprise, she leaned down to her son and said “Hey, look James, there goes the pigs!” as she pointed to us! I kept it together and leaned down and said “You look just like your mom!” and then I asked for a high-five. It was surreal. To have someone you admire and have watched so much, actually come to watch YOU in something! Wow!
And to all you crazed, SJP fans who are just dying to know the details; she was AWESOME! So sweet, and SO incredibly nice and said “You guys were all so great!!” And nothing but smiles. She is a lot smaller than you’d think possible, in person. Tiny little lady. And wore a big poofy black coat with the fur that goes around the hoodie. She wasn’t wearing any makeup, and still managed to look amazing. And she smelled ridiculously good!!! I’m not sure if it was her own stuff or not hehe. But, we couldn’t help but notice it. It was one of the things we ended up chatting about in the dressing room afterwards. Usually the dressing room afterwards is just random chat about this and that and what auditions we have going or what we’re doing after the shows. This time, no one was talking to each other, because we were all on our cell phones, calling someone, telling them about Sarah! 
Afterwards, I ran from the theatre to a 3:30 audition for Ananian, which is to be a one-man musical, scheduled to open on June 1st at Theatre 315. It’s the most BEAUTIFUL space and I really hope I’m considered. The audition went rather well, all considering.
Definitely a great day on the whole.
